Water Activities
Water enthusiasts will enjoy Lake Michigan and the many inland lakes available nearby for swimming, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, canoeing and more.
The 38 mile Inland Waterway is a chain of lakes and streams that starts at nearby Crooked Lake and winds its way to Lake Huron at Cheboygan and the Straits of Mackinaw with beaches, boating and exploring to enjoy.
Annual July-August Little Traverse Yacht Club Regatta...Sailboats start in Harbor Springs and race in Little Traverse Bay. Watch the action from the waterfront in Harbor Springs or Petoskey, mere minutes from Hamlet Village Resort Condominiums.
Petoskey & Harbor Springs Area Parks & Beaches:
Petoskey State Park located off M-119 between Harbor Springs and Petoskey offers beaches, picnic area with grills and fire pits.
Petoskey Bayfront Park with walking path, waterfall, picnic tables and restroom facilities.
The Zoll Street Beach in Harbor Springs is close to downtown and has picnic tables available for your enjoyment.
The Harbor Springs Municipal Beach on West Bay Street has a playground and rafts, and lifeguards during certain hours, close to downtown shopping and dining.
The Sturgeon Bay Beach in Wilderness Park and the Good Hart Beach are both North of Harbor Springs.
